Holland America Line • ms Zuiderdam
The crisp autumn air invites us to explore the rich waters of Atlantic Canada and New England, a region that has become one of North America's premier cruising destinations. Step aboard Holland America Line's ms Zuiderdam for a journey of pampered luxury through coastal communities steeped in maritime heritage. Our adventure begins in historic Boston, tracing the roots of the American Revolution, before we sail to Rockland, Maine, to experience quintessential New England charm. The rugged shores of Nova Scotia beckon in Halifax and Sydney, followed by the breathtaking vistas of the St. Lawrence River. Quebec City marks our final port, where centuries of French-Canadian culture come to life.
The ms Zuiderdam offers a world of spacious staterooms, elegant public rooms, expansive teak decks, priceless antiques that line the halls and the friendly gracious staff for which the line is justly famous. At 82,000 tons, it carries just over 1,964 passengers in pampered luxury. Our ship will spoil us with Mariner’s Dream™ beds, delicious food, and a wide variety of entertainment options. Different lounges and restaurants are yours to enjoy, along with cooking demonstrations, food, and wine tasting with the Culinary Council of world-renowned chefs. You can meet your fellow travellers at the spacious Explorer’s Lounge or at the Explorations Café, with its relaxing atmosphere, extensive library including audio and video sources, fresh pastries and your favourite coffee.
A host of exciting activities await you. You can watch one of the amazing performances at Lincoln Center Stage, B.B. King’s Blues Club, or Cantaré featuring pop songs. The exclusive BBC Earth concerts and films take you closer to the natural world and Explorations Central destination program gives you a deeper understanding of each port of call.
