Holland America Line • ms Zaandam
Rugged peaks, raging rivers, and sweeping vistas paint a landscape that is both wild and breathtaking. For millennia, indigenous peoples have thrived amid this untamed beauty. Later, prospectors left their mark during the 19th-century gold rushes, flooding in to seek their fortunes. While a modern rush for oil has emerged, these areas rain largely untouched. Join us as we visit such well-known locations as Anchorage, Denali National Park, Fairbanks, and the Gold Rush city of Dawson. Then enjoy several nights of pampered luxury as we cruise on the ms Zaandam to Glacier Bay and south along the Inside Passage to Vancouver.
Tour Highlights
- McKinley Explorer: Witness Alaska’s pristine wilderness from Anchorage to Denali National Park, onboard the McKinley Explorer, enjoying fabulous views from our reserved seats in the full-domed double-decker railcar.
