Hailing from Hong Kong where she spent a number of years working with international business companies, Monita came to Canada in 1991. She has worked in the travel industry for more than 10 years, including three years assisting in the coordination of tours and group travel and then seven years in a retail travel agency as both a travel consultant and as a manager for leisure and corporate travel customers. She was involved in providing all kinds of travel services (flights, tours, cruises and more) for customers from many different cultural backgrounds. Since July 2007, Monita has been working in the Operations Department as an Operations Specialist, coordinating all travel arrangements (airlines, cruises, land travel etc) with our suppliers and land operators. She is also responsible for preparing final documents with detailed travel information for customers as well as the final documents for our tour leaders.
We are pleased to have Monita Lee to escort this exciting journey. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Monita is no stranger to the Orient. She lived and worked in Hong Kong, working in the financial world. During her early years she travelled extensively in the region, including numerous trips to China. In 1991, she migrated to Canada and has lived here since. She worked with a number of different travel companies until 2007 when she joined Craig Travel, working in the Operations Department. Over the last decade she has visited China on several occasions, including a trip in 2010 when she escorted a group. Monita is looking forward to sharing this adventure and her love of travel with you.
