Despite not having the opportunity to travel this past year, our photo contest was in full swing and this month we are thrilled to announce the winners. Perhaps you spent an afternoon reviewing the many photos you’ve taken on previous journeys and found one or two special ones to send us. It is always nice to reminisce over images of past journeys and remember those fun times.

We travel to explore, relax and find excitement and inspiration. We photograph to capture the memories of these journeys and emotions they invoke. Over the years, I have visited many new places, always with my camera, and usually with too much stuff.

Paired with the region's lush vineyards, timber framed houses, cobblestone streets, and friendly people, exploring the towns and villages along the Rhine feels like stepping back in time and into a fairy tale.

Multigenerational travel has been growing over the last decade as families move further apart compared to more traditional living situations with families growing more locally. Traveling with your children and/or grandchildren gives you a brilliant experience of discovery that also helps bring the family together without the obligations of preparing meals, giving the house the “white glove test” cleaning ritual or ensuring there is enough space and activities for your growing family.
