GREAT NEWS – Canada has reduced the blanket Travel Advisory Level TWO, which allows international travel with very few restrictions. The requirement for a PCR test prior on return to Canada is gone (replaced by the much easier Antigen test, which in turn may be removed shortly). More and more countries are reducing or eliminating travel protocols, allowing the world once again to re-open. Now is the time to dust off your passports and plan to travel once more. Though cold temperatures persist in much of Canada, spring is just around the corner and with the new freedom to travel, these are very happy thoughts indeed.

There is still time to join one of our many itineraries and dates that feature the Passion Play in Oberammergau. After being delayed for two years, the village is moving full steam ahead to provide guests the opportunity to experience this very unique presentation. Check it out!

With the opening of the United Kingdom we are ready to go with our 2022 departures.
The Best of Ireland (north and south) departing August 31 and September 21 are offered as small group departures this year with a maximum of 20 group members. Space won’t last long.
Scotland’s Highlands and Isles August 1 – 15 has only 4 available spaces. Book soon!
Yorkshire and the Lake District – September 10 - Don’t miss this delightful fall journey. If you haven’t explored this beautiful piece of the UK, be sure to sign on today!

Feel like staying a bit closer to home on your first journey back to travel? There is still time to book our brand new eleven-night Newfoundland Circumnavigation on the expedition ship, Ocean Endeavor departing July 4th. Witness the stunning beauty of Canada’s coastal waters and rocky coast, sea life and picturesque fishing villages. Book before April 4 and save between $1,196 to $3,769 per person. These are exceptional savings not often offered.

Our annual Newfoundland/Labrador journey is always popular so this year we are offering two departures. The first on August 3 is already sold out. The second tour, August 12 has very limited space still available and we encourage you to reserve your places as soon as possible.

Perhaps this year you want to experience the majestic beauty of the Canadian and American north, on an adventure to Alaska. Witness Alaska’s pristine wilderness onboard the luxurious McKinley Explorer from Anchorage to Denali National Park and on to Fairbanks. The adventure continues through the Yukon, the Gold Rush city of Dawson and the Trail of ‘98. Finally, enjoy four nights of pampered luxury as we cruise on Holland America’s ms Koningsdam to Glacier Bay and south along the Inside Passage to Vancouver. This spectacular journey departs August 1, 2022.

If your vacation time only allows for a shorter voyage to Alaska, join us August 6 on a seven-night cruise roundtrip Vancouver through the Inside Passage to Glacier Bay on the ms Koningsdam.

We all have a lot of well-deserved catching up to do and new adventures are right around the corner. I invite you to visit for all of the latest information on our 2022 and 2023 tours and cruises. New journeys are being added each week, so take a peak, browse around, then give us a call and let us assist you with your next discovery.

Congratulations to Donna Rombough, one of our popular tour leaders, on the publication of her first travel memoir, The More I See. Her colourful descriptions recall years of exploring the world during an exciting career in the travel industry, including as a group leader with Craig Travel. She introduces readers to the idea that through travel we are changed, not simply by seeing a new destination, but by discovering the diversity, culture and customs of each country’s soul.
