The play is performed in German and consists of two parts
14 May to 14 Aug - Part 1: 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm | Part 2: 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
15 Aug to 2 Oct – Part 1: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm | Part 2: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
About the Hotel Alte Post

Conditions of Sale
Payment in full is required at the time of the reservation. Prices shown are based on payment by cheques – a small supplement (3%) will apply if paying by Credit Card (VISA or Mastercard only are accepted). Once payment is received, a confirmation of the arrangement will be sent. The vouchers for the tickets will be forwarded to the purchaser about one month prior to departure – actual performance tickets will be provided on arrival at the hotel. Once purchased, the arrangements are non-refundable.
Terms and Conditions:

• Exact seat numbers may not be known until the date of performance.
• Porterage and gratuities are not included
• Hotel is subject to change. Rooms will be assigned by the hotel upon check-in. While hotels are confirmed they are subject to change due to factors beyond our control.
• Once purchased 100% non-refundable
• Final documents will be ready approximately 2 weeks prior to the performance date. If you intend on travelling before the performance please ensure those details are discussed with Craig Travel at time of booking.
• Single accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Due to limited availability of accommodation in the region and policies outside the control of Craig Travel singles may be required to share a room with another person.
Additional Information
Security checks will take place before entering the theatre. Please arrive approximately 1 hour before the start of the performance. Audience members must present a valid ticket, with the name of the visitor entered on the back, before admittance. Proof of identification may be requested. Audience members are asked to carry their ticket with them at all times. Tickets need to be shown after intermission before reentering the theater. For safety reasons, the Passionsspiele Oberammergau Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG must have all names of the visitors. Theater gates will open 30 minutes before the start of the play.
Important note: There is no entrance into the theater permitted after start of the play.
Please note that the Passion Play Theatre is an open air stage with roofed seats. Therefore, please wear seasonal, comfortable and weather-dependent clothing. Excess wardrobe can be checked in a baggage drop-off point on site. Public restrooms are available at the Ammergauer Haus in Oberammergau (Eugen-Papst-Str.) or at the theater.
The following objects are not permitted in the event venue (theatre): Food and beverages more than 1/2 litre, bags exceeding a letter size format, other objects (such as walking sticks, umbrellas, etc.), weapon-like objects (such as knifes, etc.), no glass bottles are allowed, only re-sealable beverage bottles up to 1/2 litre and mini umbrellas may be taken into the theatre, blankets are available at the theater (limited supply), during performances all electronic devices (e.g. mobile phone, smartphone, tablets, cameras) must not interfere with the performance. Sound, vibration or light signals should be disabled including camera flash (airplane mode). Usage of flashlights is not allowed. Strollers and walkers are not allowed in the theater.
Dinner Times: May 16th until August 16th 2020: 5 pm until 8 pm | August 17th until October 4th 2020: 4 pm until 7 pm
COVID Safety Protocols: While safety protocols will be updated, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination and to be prepared to mask. Covid travel insurance is highly recommended.
