Our physical condition, over which we have little to no control can be an obstacle for one who is curious about our world’s treasures. By collaborating with Accessible Travel Solutions, a tour operator committed to enabling physically limited travellers to explore our world, Silversea is allowing most travellers the freedom to experience the beauty of our planet.
Through this partnership, the cruise line is now offering new accessible excursions in nine destinations in the Caribbean and Central America. Silversea is already planning to offer similar opportunities to guests cruising to the Mediterranean later this year. The collection of accessible shore excursions offered by Silversea will offer the same immersive experience offered throughout all itineraries. They will however be enhanced by visits to sites and attractions that have step-free access as well as accessible washrooms. Escorting guides are also perfectly trained and experienced with accessibility issues allowing all guests to enjoy a worry-free excursion. Some cruisers will need a companion depending on their limitations.
Exploring the natural wonders and waterfalls of St. Lucia, interacting with monkeys at a sanctuary in Honduras, or taking in the incredible sights of the spectacular ocean from the Timothy Hill Scenic Outlook in St. Kitts are now experiences open to everyone. Be ready to check these off your bucket list very soon!
