Linda Ujihara, a graduate of York University and U of T, has had a varied life, following careers in mergers and acquisitions and travel. She has traveled extensively around the globe and lived for several years in Mexico and the Caribbean. Linda has led group tours, worked as a destination representative and has enjoyed all modes of travel, ranging from backpacking through South America to luxury cruising in the Arctic. Retirement has allowed Linda to pursue her love of travel even further and she hopes to share this wonderful journey with all those who travel with her.
Lynn Macdonald is no stranger to the world of travel as she has explored the world from North America to China, Europe and Africa and enjoyed numerous cruises primarily on Holland America Line. Recently, she has been pursuing her love of travel through escorting groups, on our behalf, to a number of destinations.
Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair is the Minister of the Congregation of Toronto's Metropolitan United Church. His Scottish clan had it roots among the Vikings of Norway. Malcolm is the Padre to the York Garrison of the 78th Fraser Highlanders, (General James Wolfe's troops on the Plains of Abraham, 1759), and is a Past-President of the St. Andrew's Society of Toronto. Seasoned travellers, Malcolm, and his wife, Elspeth, have explored the United Kingdom on several occasions, have led keen sailors in the Mediterranean and up the Volga River in Russia. Both are looking forward to meeting new friends on a spectacular trip to a beautiful and ancient homeland. The Norwegian coast has replaced battles with beauty and now calls out to be enjoyed by all those who join them!
Marc Cianfrini is highly respected in the education sector for his innovative implementation of new and creative learning initiatives. With 37 years’ experience at the Secondary and University level, Marc has demonstrated leadership and expertise in school administration, teaching, technological planning, and project management. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees from McMaster University and The University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Ontario Principals Council and The Ontario College of Teachers. He has travelled extensively and being fluent in Italian, he calls Italy his second home. He has led numerous student tours throughout North America and Europe and established an exchange program with a school in the Netherlands. Marc has a passion for experiential educational travel which he is thrilled to share with others.
Margaret Smith has led a varied life, following careers in travel, business and teaching before she entered the ministry in 1997. Currently she is serving the United Church in Keswick. Throughout her life, Margaret has loved the world of travel and has spent much of her life exploring the world. She has led a number of very successful tours and cruises and travelled extensively in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Orient and the South Pacific. Called by those who know her as the Singing Padre, we are sure that Margaret's love of travel and life will ensure a most memorable journey for all who join her.
Reverend Mark Aitchison and his life partner, Pattie, have escorted groups to Israel, Europe, Peru, South Africa and Greece. They have travelled throughout Europe as well as to Australia, New Zealand, Turkey and Egypt. Mark spent the last 37 years as a pastoral minister in the United Church of Canada serving in rural and urban charges in Ontario and Saskatchewan. During his ministry he has also served in interim postings in Edinburgh, Scotland and Newcastle, Australia. Currently, he is Senior Minister at Islington United Church, Toronto, where he has served since 1993. Mark and Pattie are very excited about this journey and look forward to sharing this experience with you.
As well as being an educator and researcher, Mary Mundle has spent time as an entrepreneur in various locations in Canada. She is an experienced traveller and her global journey thus far includes North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. Having lived and worked in many parts of Canada, she has developed a wide circle of friends via her work, volunteer service and as a chorister. She looks forward to sharing her adventures with all those who join her!
Throughout her life, Mary Talyor has always travelled for pleasure, for work, for family, and to indulge her love of watersports. Born and raised in England, she came to Canada in 1974 and has spent almost four decades in education, working in schools, educational program development, research, and teacher education. She has coordinated university travel exchange programs and both visited and volunteered in schools overseas. Her travel experiences have brought her to places such as Australia, Africa, the Solomon Islands, the Maldives, India, and Peru, with many in-depth visits to Europe and the Caribbean. Mary loves to explore different cultures and is keen to use technology to share her travel experiences with others. She looks forward to sharing new adventures with you!
Melanie has worked in the travel industry since 2007 and currently manages the Marketing Department at Craig Travel. She brings with her a wealth of destination knowledge and has travelled to a host of countries within Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, Africa and the Caribbean. She has escorted travel industry groups and most recently Craig Travel's exciting journeys through Ethiopia and Russia. She is very much looking forward to many more adventures!
We are pleased to have Monita Lee to escort this exciting journey. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Monita is no stranger to the Orient. She lived and worked in Hong Kong, working in the financial world. During her early years she travelled extensively in the region, including numerous trips to China. In 1991, she migrated to Canada and has lived here since. She worked with a number of different travel companies until 2007 when she joined Craig Travel, working in the Operations Department. Over the last decade she has visited China on several occasions, including a trip in 2010 when she escorted a group. Monita is looking forward to sharing this adventure and her love of travel with you.
