Having worked in the group travel industry since 1985, Joilyn joined the staff of Craig Travel in January 2004. Her travels have taken her to the United States, UK and Ireland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Costa Rica, and on numerous cruises through the islands of the Caribbean. Her zeal for travel extends to escorting a number of groups – including both a cruise to and a tour of Bermuda, Israel and Oberammergau, South Africa, Costa Rica, Pennsylvania, Alaska Cruise and The Yukon, a river cruise in the Netherlands and England. She has floated in the Dead Sea, panned for gold in the Yukon, zip lined in Costa Rica, visited the staterooms of Buckingham Palace, and found all equally enjoyable. We are pleased to have award winning photographer Jon Gurr and his wife Susan as part of our tour escort team. For over 30 years, Jon and Sue have been travelling the world and capturing photographic images of their destinations. Some of Jon’s photographs are displayed in the National Archives, numerous publications and calendars as well as in galleries in Muskoka. Over the years they have travelled in Britain, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, India and China. Jon hopes to teach some photographic skills and both plan to share their love of travel on this adventure.

Karen Cullen has just recently retired from 30+ years in the travel industry, where she worked as a Director with both an international travel agency chain and a travel insurance provider in Business Development. She is now looking forward to sharing her passion for travel and meeting new people with all those who join her. She has always had an interest in learning about new cultures and the history of various countries, whilst maintaining a passion for volunteering. Her past travels have taken her to Europe with extensive travels in Italy, Ireland, Greece, Portugal and Great Britain. Glacier hiking in Iceland, kayaking in Newfoundland and in Tofino and skiing the Rockies. Australia, Hawaii, most Caribbean islands and Central America countries, Junk-a-noo in the Bahamas, a long and extensive list of experiences, people and places. Among her most proud passport stamps is Malawi where she volunteered with Women for Fair Development in developing a strategic plan. Jim works in the insurance industry and has a keen interest in outdoor activities, including golf, back-country canoeing, skiing and most recently adventure racing. Kathryn was born in Montreal but now lives with her husband Roger in beautiful Miramichi, New Brunswick. Recently retired after 25 years of ministry in the United Church of Canada Kathryn now has more time to indulge her passion for travelling and exploring the world. She has visited England, Scotland and Wales, Germany, Austria, Holland, Costa Rica, India and Cambodia as well as the US and Canada. She believes that travel opens minds; open minds lead to open hearts; open hearts lead to peace. When not on the move Kathryn enjoys yoga, swimming, Irish whistle and singing with a local choral group. She looks forward to engaging with other intrepid travellers in discovering the delights of new destinations.
Kim is no stranger to travel; with experience as both a group escort and a North American tour guide she has travelled extensively. An energetic leader, Kim retired after 33 years of planning, coordinating, managing, and directing committees, conferences and charities to pursue her love of travel. Kim has led groups all across Canada and the USA as well as to Vietnam and India. Overturning every rock, her personal explorations have taken her to Southeast Asia, a dozen European countries and much of Central America. Larry and Lyn Mann love to travel learning about other cultures while seeing the world. They have led many trips with Craig Travel - Ireland, Iceland, Greenland, East and South Africa, the South Pacific, Scandinavia, Costa Rica plus more. Personal travel has taken them through South America, China, the Caribbean and skiing in Europe. At home in the Beaver Valley they are busy volunteers in many local activities and for different causes. Linda Ujihara, a graduate of York University and U of T, has had a varied life, following careers in mergers and acquisitions and travel. She has traveled extensively around the globe and lived for several years in Mexico and the Caribbean. Linda has led group tours, worked as a destination representative and has enjoyed all modes of travel, ranging from backpacking through South America to luxury cruising in the Arctic. Retirement has allowed Linda to pursue her love of travel even further and she hopes to share this wonderful journey with all those who travel with her.
Lynn Macdonald is no stranger to the world of travel as she has explored the world from North America to China, Europe and Africa and enjoyed numerous cruises primarily on Holland America Line. Recently, she has been pursuing her love of travel through escorting groups, on our behalf, to a number of destinations.
Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair is the Minister of the Congregation of Toronto's Metropolitan United Church. His Scottish clan had it roots among the Vikings of Norway. Malcolm is the Padre to the York Garrison of the 78th Fraser Highlanders, (General James Wolfe's troops on the Plains of Abraham, 1759), and is a Past-President of the St. Andrew's Society of Toronto. Seasoned travellers, Malcolm, and his wife, Elspeth, have explored the United Kingdom on several occasions, have led keen sailors in the Mediterranean and up the Volga River in Russia. Both are looking forward to meeting new friends on a spectacular trip to a beautiful and ancient homeland.
