Cathy Semler retired as a High School Principal after devoting 35 years to the teaching profession. She is a seasoned traveller who loves the opportunity to learn from new adventures. Her travel has taken her to places like Alaska, Australia, New Zealand and Europe – most recently to Switzerland and Germany. She enjoys visiting cities like Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin as well as hiking in the mountains and cruising to different countries. Cathy is always looking forward to the next adventure overseas and is excited about sharing the adventure with all those who join her!
Christine has been hooked on travel since the age of 13, when she and her parents travelled to New Zealand and the South Pacific. She has been leading groups for 20 years and has visited Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and most of North America. Whether on a motorcoach, a cruise ship or a train, she likes it all. When not on tour she divides her time between her cottage, watching for birds, and York Pines United Church in Kettleby where she loves to sing in the choir. She looks forward to sharing this adventure with you.
Clarence and Linda are recent retirees who remain active in teaching and pastoral ministry. They have hosted previous tours to Israel and Europe (including Oberammergau 2000). Their entire career has been devoted to pastoral ministry and teaching on college campuses in The Salvation Army. Their investment in missions have taken them to the Caribbean on several occasions, as well as Guyana and Peru. Having lived in Atlanta for eight years, they have travelled throughout the United States, with the exception of the Great Plains. Cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean have also broadened their exposure to the diversity of human cultures. Leadership training and coaching have been the focus of four visits they have made to major cities of Brazil since 2012. Europe and Israel remain their all-time favourite destinations and they look forward to this exhilarating journey with you.
Born in Sault Ste Marie, David has lived in Calgary, Toronto, Sydney (Australia) and a number of other cities around the world. David began his lifelong relationship with travel while still in high school, working first with Canada Steamship Lines and then with Horizon Holidays, as a tour escort. While not travelling across Canada, David spent four years at the University of Toronto in an effort to become an engineer before going on to York University to take an MBA. Graduating in 1971, David decided that it was far too early to settle down and so spent five years exploring the globe, backpacking first across Europe and then through Asia, following the Overland route and eventually reaching Australia. After living and working in Australia for three years (in Perth, Sydney and Cairns), David continued his journey, spending a year in New Zealand and several months island hopping across the Pacific back to Canada where he eventually settled into the family travel business. Having lead countless journey's around the world across all seven continents you could say David is one of the most experience tour escorts in the business.
David, President of Craig Travel, and Roslyn bring with them many years of travel experience both as escorts and as tour operators. After attending the University of Toronto and York University, David travelled around the world and lived in Australia for a number of years before returning to Canada and Craig Travel. For almost forty years David has devoted his working life to arranging and operating tours and cruises to scores of destinations around the world. An Australian by birth, Roslyn, has lived and worked in the business of travel for most of her life. For over three decades, David and Roslyn have led tours and cruises visiting over 100 countries and all seven continents.
Born in the small village of Jordanstown, in Northern Ireland, the Rev David McKane spent his youth there until his family immigrated to Canada in 1958. After entering the ministry in 1970, David spent several years working and studying in Ireland. Since returning to Canada he has served pastorates in Nova Scotia, Toronto and since 2002, in London, Ontario. David, who loves to travel and to sing, looks forward to sharing this exciting journey with you.

David, who is currently the Dean of Divinity at Trinity College in the University of Toronto, is a well known speaker and authority on Christian history in Britain and Ireland. David & Mary have traveled extensively and have escorted several very successful tours to Scotland and England, Ireland and most recently to Egypt. Deborah Hart has been a United Church of Canada minister for over 30 years, serving in Vancouver, the Manitoba Saskatchewan border, and Toronto. She has a deep commitment to ecumenical and interfaith work. Her hobbies include photography and interfaith clergy curling! Deborah has travelled extensively, often on study tours, to learn about the culture, history, faith and current lives of people around the world. Her travels have taken her to Israel, Jordan and the Sinai, Turkey and Greece, India and Nepal, Syria and Lebanon, East Africa, South America, Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, England, Spain, Caribbean, Crete and Germany. She has also designed and led tours to Israel and Jordan, Turkey and Greece. Deborah believes that travel enriches our lives as it helps to broaden our horizons, break down barriers, promote understanding and build community. She looks forward to meeting and travelling with all those who join her on this marvelous journey.
Donna Rombough retired from Craig Travel several years ago. Having spent her entire career in various management positions within the travel industry, Donna has travel in her blood. She has also lead groups of travellers on countless tours and cruises to many parts of the world and delights in sharing new experiences and cultures with her travellers. Dr. Mike Daley and his wife Jill are both professional musicians and avid travellers. Mike holds a Ph.D in musicology from York University and is a popular instructor for later life learning programmes around the GTA as well as the Hot Docs Theatre Curious Minds lecture series. Jill is a full-time musician at Canada's National Ballet School and holds the position of musician-in-residence at Church of the Redeemer. Mike and Jill have led music-themed tours in New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, London, Liverpool and St. John's since 2011 and they look forward to sharing this journey with you!
