St. John’s is an urban city with a rich history steeped in tradition. As the crown jewel of Newfoundland, it's a centre of creative arts, enchanting stories, unique customs and spectacular rugged scenery. Our August 2019 tour includes private workshops and performances by some of Newfoundland's most sought-after musicians, storytellers and dance callers. Along with local guides and experts, Mike will bring Newfoundland folk arts to life through a series of informal talks. We'll enjoy a dinner at Bernard Stanley Gastropub as well as a private gourmet dinner provided by Red Oak Catering. Breakfasts in the hotel dining room with a spectacular view of the Narrows are also included. We'll take a boat excursion to Witless Bay Ecological Reserve to see whales and puffins. There will also be an opportunity to enjoy a live folk music performance at the famous Ship Pub. Ample free time is available to experience local attractions like Signal Hill, "kissing the cod," The Rooms and Cape Spear.
Note:  this is a specialty themed tour run and hosted by Musicpath.
