Iceland is one of the most popular destinations in the world and the opportunity to sail from port to port is especially unique. Often referred to as the Land of Ice and Fire, this cruise allows us to experience Iceland’s many natural wonders including cascading geysers, magnificent glaciers, astonishing waterfalls, and even some active volcanos. Our ship, the ms Ocean Diamond, is small enough to dock in remote ports while large enough to ensure our creature comforts are met. With a capacity of 210 guests, this smaller ship allows us to navigate a route of fjords and bays that larger vessels simply can’t manage. Iceland’s breathtaking beauty continues to be a huge draw to travellers, and based on the past popularity of this sailing, we expect this trend to continue. If Iceland is at the top of your wish list, make sure to reserve your space early.

Iceland ProCruises

Thanks to an ice-strengthened hull (ice class 1D) and stabilizers that significantly reduce roll, the super yacht ms Ocean Diamond is the ideal ship for expeditions in the Arctic region. Due to the ship’s compact size, it can take passengers to places off the traditional cruise routes to experience all the highlights of Iceland. Carrying a maximum of 210 passengers, the Ocean Diamond features a range of modern onboard amenities and is staffed with outstanding officers and crew, as well as experienced expedition leaders and guides. All cabins and suites are well appointed. They have en suite facilities with shower and provide views of the sea (port holes or windows). They are very comfortable in size (182- 204 square feet). The ship’s Zodiacs are used for excursions and landings, providing exceptional close up views, exploring the bays and waterways around Iceland. After a busy day of exploration, we can enjoy the well-stocked library for books or DVDs or relax in the Observation Lounge for a drink while enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Ship features include:

  • All cabins are outside with private facilities with shower
