Sighisoara, Romania is conosidered one of Europe's most compelling and well-preserved medieval towns. The Old Town is a medieval hill citadel that has preserved much of its 15th century wall, enclosing nearly 200 stone houses and public buildings.

Wild, wonderful, scenic, breathtaking and historic are all words that I would use to describe our Craig Travel trip to Ireland in September 2016! From the time we arrived to the time we left, our needs were very well taken care of, and even a little damp weather at the beginning did nothing to dampen our spirits! Travelling in a large, comfortable tour coach, our friendly and extremely skilled bus driver/guide Brendan drove us safely along many narrow and winding roads, entertaining us with his tremendous knowledge and local insights.

Tuscany is not the kind of place one would call a once-in-a-lifetime journey; not the kind of place you cross off your bucket list when you get home. Once is simply not enough and once you’ve been, you want to return. There is an undeniable charm in its stunning landscapes, rolling hills, neat vineyards and ancient hill towns alive with a joie de vivre that casts a spell on all who venture there.

A new marketing campaign and the benefits of a drop in the exchange rate resulting in better value, resulted in a record breaking number of overseas visitors in 2016.  Canadians spent a whopping 505 million pounds, up 24% with visits up 12% to 643,000 from January to September 2016.  When considering inbound visits overall to the UK, there were a record-breaking 28.1 million visits from January to September 2016.
