The Craig Travel Photo Contest is free and open to all travellers. We are looking for photos that reflect the spirit of our journeys. Subjects can include landscapes, portraits of locals or fellow travellers, interaction with locals, wildlife, historic sites and much more. Winners will be announced bi-annually and be featured in our annual Calendar as well as our blog and monthly e-newsletters. Suitable submissions will be periodically added to our social media accounts as honorary mentions.
By submitting photos, you are giving Craig Travel the right to use the photos in future promotions.
Submissions will be accepted during two time periods each year.
First submission period runs from January 1st to June 30th.
Second submission period runs from July 1st to December 31st.
Two winners will be selected for each submission period, along with an unspecified number of honorary mentions. Winners are selected by a panel of Craig Travel staff.
Once you are ready to submit your picture(s) you simply email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
· Images must be submitted in a digital image format (.jpg, .gif, .jpeg, .png, etc…).
· File size must be between 500kb and 9mb. Image quality (resolution) of 300dpi or higher is required to appear in our calendar.
· Include your full name in each submission so proper accreditation can be provided when the winners are posted.
· Include the location and general time in which the photo was taken.
· Scanned copies of images will not be accepted.
· Mailed copies of images will not be accepted.
· PDF files will not be accepted.
By submitting photos I understand that….
- Craig Travel may use the photos for future advertising/promotions.
- I have, to the best of my ability, obtained the permission of subject(s) of the photo(s) to be used in this contest.
- The image may appear on the Craig Travel website in future.
- Winners will be notified by e-mail and announced in our e-newsletters “Travel Talk” and “Sail Away” as well as our “Experience Our World” booklet within 1 month of the contest end date.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Participants acknowledge these contest rules are to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and laws of Ontario. By entering the contest and agreeing to our terms and conditions, the winners confirm their eligibility and compliance with the contest rules and release Craig Travel, its partners and affiliates and their respective advertising and promotional agencies from all liability caused by, or resulting from, the acceptance or use of the contest prize. This contest is open to all participants, except employees (& family members) of Craig Travel, its partners and affiliates and their respective advertising and promotional agencies. Residents of countries or provinces where they are prohibited or restricted in entering online contests are also prohibited from entering.
