GROUP MEMBER THANK YOU'S Congratulations
on a wonderful keepsake of our Magnificent Europe (40TH anniversary)
trip. The book just arrived in today's mail and we wanted to again
thank you for a memorable vacation and all the fine memories! BM,
Tavistock --------- What a wonderful surprise to receive a much
appreciated copy of Craig's 40th Anniversary Europe Cruise picture
book. It certainly brought back many happy memories of my much enjoyed
holiday; from our terrific tour leaders to the fantastic crew aboard ms
Amalegro, the comfortable and spotless cabins, beautiful flowers
freshened up each day, delightful meal choices, [plus the wine!] Every
day brought new experiences; I loved seeing and visiting so many quaint
places and many castles; this trip has left me hoping that one day I'll
get to see more of those countries we visited. Once again a very big "Thank You" for the memories and for arranging such a terrific tour. My favourite saying is CRAIG TOURS - THE ONLY WAY TO TRAVEL! AL, White Rock. BC

THANK YOU
The
following note was received recently from Edna Light, founder of the
soup kitchen which Craig Travel supports in Plettenberg, South Africa.
The note was sent in response to your recent generous donations.
"My
sincere apologies for the tardiness of this acknowledgement of your
gift to the soup kitchen. Please do not let it detract from our
gratitude for a very generous gift. We appreciate the gift especially
in the light of the global economic crunch which has affected us all.
We received a cheque from Mary Weismiller at Wesley United Church which
included $1135.00 from Craig Travel and $1,500.00 from Craig clients. Since
our winter always brings extra demands for food the gift could not have
been more timely. Thank you so much. I am not sure how to convey our
thanks to your clients who so loyally support our cause, but trust that
you will do so on our behalf. We have an increasing number of
TB and HIV positive people to whom we deliver food as they are too weak
to walk the distance to the soup kitchen and any additional income over
our budget enables us to purchase extra small items for them. There is
also now an after-school care facility for some of the children and we
supply their food also. Thank you for your partnership with us in this very worthwhile project. We certainly could not cope without our friends abroad." Yours in gratitude, Edna Light If
you are interested in supporting this worthy cause, please make cheques
payable to Wesley United Church/AfriCan Link Fund and mail to Mrs. Mary
Weismiller, 6 Burnside Drive, Glen Morris, ON N0B 1W0. Advise Mary that
you are Craig Travel clients and Craig Travel will match your donation
up to $100 per donation.

RAISING THEIR CHILDREN RIGHT
One
day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going
to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:
Tommy do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky. TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky. TEACHER: Did you see God up there? TOMMY: No. TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist. A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: LITTLE GIRL: TOMMY, do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher? TOMMY: Yes LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain? TOMMY: No LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she possibly may not even have one!
